Is your heart telling you it’s time to make a change?  I remember feeling like I was helping shape “compliance robots” instead of supporting leaders eager to co-create and to solve complex problems. Somehow, I’d lost sight of the magnificence of our human potential!

After 35 years in public education, having served as an urban school superintendent and school turn- around leader, focused on school transformation and educational equity, I began my personal wellness journey. My “Hero’s Journey” has been a quest to reconnect with my own magnificence, and to live in alignment with my knowing that we are all brilliant BE-ings.

My work as an Assistant Superintendent in Charlottesville continues to influence my commitment to equity and justice. The death of Heather Heyer, a peaceful protester during the summer of 2017, significantly impacted me—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—a decade after leaving town. I’m a white woman who believes that racism is a big issue. I’m dedicated to my growth as an ally.

I’m a teacher, working passionately with groups of like-minded and like-hearted people interested in raising their consciousness and contributing to the healing and evolution of our planet.
